Bio:  Readers of Gin-Nie's work rave her verse as "powerful"; "candid"; "one cannot put her book down until you have devoured each verse and pondering." Her work touts faith, passion, forgiveness and hope in the darkest nights. Gin-Nie is an author, writer, poet, wife, mother, grandmother and long lasting friend. She is a Child of Grace, which led to the book series The Heart and Soul of a Woman; that include, Poetry and Ponderings of a Child of Grace and We Are All, Poets. ----------------------------------- I grew up in several states, mostly in Kentuckiana. My schools were North Vernon, Indiana and Boone County, Kentucky, graduating from Boone County High in 1966. My siblings:(we share our late mother Rosie Criswell) include, my late brother Lanny Ruble, sisters are Faye Ruble Koenig Engle and Joyce Ruble Bradford. My father was Otis H. "Toad" Tanner of Florence, Kentucky. Our home church is Hopeful Lutheran Church in Boone County, Kentucky. After meeting my husband, Steve, in 1968 at Fort Hood, Texas, we married and moved back to his home state of North Carolina. Since then we have lived in Mississippi, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota and back to the Ole North State again.
Interests:  Writing, painting, crafting, geneaology, staying in contact my friends and loved ones. Playing my hammered dulcimer and bowed psaltry is a joy for me, at least. Each time I think my poetry and ponderings are complete, my muse gets into mojo and cuts loose with words that I have no control over. The words just appear out of a word or thought, memory or visual or auditory stimulation. It is very strong within my heart and soul.
